Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the Baltimore Comic-Con, held in the Baltimore Convention Center. Sadly, it is near the field where the Baltimore Ravens were playing a pre-season football game, which caused the parking prices to triple. Still, it was a fun outing. This article appeared in the Baltimore Sun before the Comic-Con started on Saturday, but it still has some good things to say about it:

Is this me punching a time clock?Today was my first day working my new schedule. As I expected, I had trouble sleeping last night because I knew I had to be on time for my first day, or die trying!

Several errands were done before I got there, including a doctor’s appointment. I’m doing well enough that my meds are being reduced. I liked that!

It was weird knowing I had to leave at 10 p.m. But the one constant in life is change, and I’ll grow with it. I guess the payoff will be Saturday when I can go to the store and maybe even go out with friends from the U.S.S. Chesapeake Writers’ Group!
