It’s almost time to say, “Happy New Year!” The year 2010 has been an interesting one! But it’s time to change the calendars and look ahead to 2011!
During 2010, I started this blog! I have enjoyed being able to share my thoughts and those stories that attracted my attention! I look forward to more next year!
I also noticed that the older I get, the happier I am to see a year go by. When I was younger, it was easier to resolve problems because most of them seemed to be less complicated than they are now. During the recent holiday party the U.S.S. Chesapeake club threw, I observed that many of us were glad to see 2010 leave the scene because we had encountered so many concerns during that time.
But mostly 2010 was a maintenance year for me. I had to resolve issues stemming from my Mom’s passing a few years back, and that included helping my brother Randy recover from an auto accident he suffered back in September of 2009. Things are getting better, though!
