Since this is the unofficial end of summer, I hope you will take this chance to get out in the sun and enjoy the warm weather while we still have it! I’ll be back next week, and I’m sure there will be lots of time to spend indoors during the “Brrrr” months–September, October, November and December!

I continue to think that the state of political discussion has degenerated to where it seems none is possible. Or at least, if someone states something that is disagreed with, then extreme actions must be taken against them.
Here’s a good example: a billboard posted by someone who wanted to make a point by disagreeing with the current government garnered death threats. Here’s the story from ky3.com:
