Folks, apologies for being under the weather so much the last few weeks. I’ve had a nasty bug that has been after me for a long time. I hope to be coming out the other side, finally!

This weekend, I thought I’d share some music from some of my favorite pianists, so here goes:

First up, Joe Bongiorno has hosted many concerts from his home online, and this is one of his songs I enjoy as he performs live:

One pianist I share one name with is Wayne Gratz. I’ve found his music to be calmly inspiring, such as this piece:

David Lanz is a former rock musician who fell in love with the piano. This is one of his best:

I’ve probably already shared this song by Chris Geith once before, but I just love it so much …

And no group of pianists would be complete without Jim Brickman, who really started me down this road to such great music. I heard this song first. It was on a local radio station, and I didn’t turn the station off until they said who performed this piece. Once I heard it, I was off to the music store to get it, and a love affair was born.
